Our Power Partners USA logo is two capital Ps interlocked to shape a hyperlink. The logo represents the linking of Power Partners with each other electronically. In my last blog, I noted how our business model utilizes interactive introductory videos to replace that first time in person networking introduction with a short but in-depth video introduction. The video provides the viewer insight into a potential business partner without risking any drive time or business time losses for either party. If the video content resonates, an in person meeting or phone call is arranged to take the business relationship to the next step. The next step after the initial introduction is the face to face meeting. Today, I had the privilege in sitting in on a face to face lunch meeting between two Power Partners. These two business owners easily and casually shared information about their pasts, present and future aspirations in a comfortable, relaxing environment. It is too early to say if a long term business relationship will develop but there was so much synergy between their businesses that I would be surprised if it did not. Networking or the initial micro meeting is just a social encounter unless it leads to an in depth face to face meeting or phone conversation. The ice has to be broken and an initial level of trust has to be established before people will agree to meet face to face and share information about themselves or their business. The next rendition of our Power Partners USA logo will have our interlocking Ps on the bow of Ice Breaker. Our mission is to help break the ice and get you to the next step. Below is a short excerpt from business coach Jackie Nagel’s blog post at www.synnovatia.com. Jackie extols the power of blogging in lieu of face to face networking. At Power Partners USA, we could not agree more – to a point. We are seeing first-hand and in only two weeks how inbound blog marketing is bringing us more website hits, positive brand awareness and new business opportunities. However, we do know the importance of business to business networking and have a solution for having “Face Time without the Drive Time”. At Power Partners USA, our business model implements interactive introductory videos to temporarily replace that first time networking introduction with a short but in-depth video introduction. The video provides the viewer insight into a potential business partner without risking any drive time or business time losses for either party. If the video content resonates, an in person meeting or phone call is arranged to take the business relationship to the next step. Blog Excerpt From: Never Too Late: Your Roadmap To Small Business Blogging Success Posted by Jackie Nagel January 20, 2015 Stop Wasting Time Content creation, along with an inbound marketing strategy, can be challenging for those who routinely do business face-to-face and belly-to-belly. Having launched our business in 1997 using an outbound marketing strategy (i.e. attending networking events, etc.), we understand fully how to get results from offline networking. Over the years, however, we’ve questioned the real ROI on face-to-face networking. It’s the dirty little secret no one wants to admit. (Click to Tweet) Given the amount of time required to drive to and from an event, plus the cost of the event, parking, and meal and/or refreshments, networking events have to produce a better ROI. This is especially true if you live in LA, like we do, or another large metropolitan area, where a 10-mile jaunt across town can eat three hours out of your day. I don’t know about you, but I’m just not willing to give up that much of my time sitting in a car. ___________________________________________________________________________ Below are examples of Power Partner USA interactive, introductory videos from Power Partners in our network. The family recites this one all the time because of the kick they would get out of the delivery and meaning. That intro to an admonishment from my grandpa would crack me up right before I got yelled at. But, the words stick because if we don’t listen, how do we apply properly what has been said? For business development, we attend networking meetings and luncheons to engage in conversations that will lead to sales. We automatically know our opportunity in the conversation when a few keywords or phrases are said that trigger us to explain how we might be able to be of service. But, what if that conversation is a dry well for you? It does not have to be a waste of time. That conversation may be a lead opportunity for a fellow Power Partner - provided we know what keywords trigger business for them. “Leesen, And Leesen Good!” to these three short videos. These professionals tell you the Words, Phrases or Conditions that lead to direct business for them.
